Scout Sharp Tool Skills £15 per scout, max of 10.

Sessions available each month on a Saturday.

Come along for a 2-hour session to learn how to safely use sharp tools, such as knives and saws, and make a try stick, showing different cutting techniques to be able to make more than a tent peg!

The session will cover sharp tool safety, cutting techniques, tool maintenance and knife law. This will give you the knowledge you need towards your Survival Skills Badge section 1.c

We can also assist with the delivery of more topics towards this badge, such as – shelter building, water filtration, fire lighting, navigation, animal prep and cooking. These can be provided as part of activities for your whole scout group for £50 a session, with all necessary equipment provided. Contact us for more information and to discuss bookings.

All leaders are fully trained and insured, have valid DBS checks and an outdoors first aid trained member of staff attends all events
