The Fresh Air Club was created to encourage young people to re-engage with nature and the outdoors in a fun, engaging and educational way. Young people gain both physically and mentally from being in an outdoors environment and we provide educational and development opportunities in and outside of schools along with after-school and fun holiday activities.

What we do…

• We run outdoor activities during the school day and have designed, with the input of current Headteachers, a full outdoor learning curriculum that compliments the national curriculum and topic work being completed in the classroom.

• We run 1-1 and small group sessions using outdoor skills and bushcraft to aid communication and resilience along with helping foster improved self-confidence.

• We run after-school clubs that give children taster sessions of our in school work, fun games and crafts which is delivered in a fun filled and engaging way.

• Holiday Clubs teaching bushcraft, archery, axe throwing and crafts each with a theme linked to books, history or films such as Wizarding days, Woodland Craft, Vikings, Star Wars, Outdoor Cook Out and much more.

• Accredited nationally recognised NCFE courses for older children helping them to gain qualifications in the outdoors industry to assist in gaining future employment.

• Woodland birthday parties.

What does the franchise cost?

We have a one off franchise fee of £10,000 with an ongoing franchise fee of 10% of turnover. This is subject to VAT.
