The Fresh Air Club also works in schools during term time running activity-based workshops and team building games teaching bushcraft, survival and co-operative skills in an outdoor adventurous learning environment. We can work with smaller groups of children or provide sessions for larger groups with multiple age ranges and can provide regular individual sessions over several weeks or a term. Alternatively, we can provide your school with a concise 'outdoors learning week' where we can spend time with your different year groups outdoors, teaching skills, thinking co-operatively and having fun!

Some of the activities we run at schools are:

Fire lighting sessions learning several methods to light fires

Den and shelter building

Navigation using man made and natural methods

Bug hunts, bug house and bird feeders

Bow making

Whittling wood to make tent pegs and pieces for a game

Tree identification and their uses

Nerf tactical games

Knots and paracord survival bracelet making

Team building adventure games
